  2. Do you think you'll open it again? Do you still have those items in stock?

    Store

    Sorry, it's closed for now.
  4. Hi, I noticed that the store link is not available anymore on your site, however the store is still accessible from: http://guysfromandromeda.com/store/ Just wondering if the items there are still available. I'm mainly interested in the collectible card and the pin. Thank you.
  5. Well as someone who got their hands on the alpha... 😉
  6. I could have sworn I signed up here. Could have sworn... I backed at the $30 level so beta time eventually for me as well. I'm quite excited, and this journey has been a real hoot.
  7. It's finally happening! Who all backed at a high enough level to get the beta?
  8. Great game from great developers! I think, Two Guys will return to game industry after it and make some games else.
  9. Soon the beta will be released?
  10. Can somebody make multiplayer site with SQ1-6 as one game? (like in the AGS game 'ATIJ' by Akril) i.e. you can teleport to any planet of SQ1-6 and there're many aliens and other players :) Just for fun.
  11. Some ideas: - dubstep remix to SQ Theme - SQ7 fangame (any fangame) (big like SQ Inc) (for now we got SQ8 and SQ9 only - SQ VSB, SQ Inc) - SQ toys (for ex, plastic Roger Wilco) - shop 'Monolith Burger' (create shop, yes; in all countries)) - beer 'Keronian Ale' - 360 videos about SQ in youtube - Space Quest VR game - Facebook game about SQ - New minigames from Two Guys - Fangame about Two Guys (with futurama humour) - Fangame about Beatrice - SQ2 from Vohaul's side (play for Vohaul)
  12. I don't think it's against any rules; however, visually - for myself, anyway - it looks less appealing. It all looks super blurred to me, rather than the smoother... pixel appearance.
  13. You can technically multiplayer SQ1 and SQ2. :) http://sarien.net/
  14. Thanks! I had fun doing those back in the Kickstarter days. :)
  15. I don't know if it's against the rules to plug things, but I just uploaded a video on YT with the entirety of SQ3 running in S-Video, the goal of which is to naturally smooth as much dithering as possible, thereby better simulating an expanded color pallet, done in a manner recordable in decent quality. Unfortunately, my hardware isn't quite where I want it to be for that, my capture card forced its own compression, that, while not terrible, is definitely not great either. Also, I don't have an MT-32, so Sound Blaster 16 will have to do. Regardless, if anyone wants to check it out, well, here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0ZZCiEa4GM
  16. Yea I always wondered the dislike for this game too. For me though this is the game I started on and never knew the other 5 existed for a long time. I literally thought it was just a play on all the space stuff back then using numbers and what not and didn't realize it was actually the 6th game. This game (SQ6) and Freddy Pharkas are my go to games when I need to go back and get that past feeling I think about these 2 games daily I swear lol. I played both of these games all the time back then never getting anywhere in either of them because I couldn't figure them out and the internet was just basic at that time. I don't recall ever getting off the ground and if I did it was probably a rare thing and that I don't remember, because I remember the street scenes and anything that resembles that to this day. As in Futurama reminds me of SQ6 as does Star Wars in the bar scene. Like even though I never got into Star Wars nor do I care for it, but that scene sticks out for me and I've only seen it like once lol. So again for me this game is great but let me get into the other games. Now for me I'm mostly into P&C games that have voice, rarely do I play any game that doesn't have voice weather it be P&C or otherwise unless I have to, which makes going back to some of these older ones a bit hard for me to do. I did play SQ1 VGA and it was okay, it was short and wasn't a whole lot going on but this was a few years ago so it wasn't all that impressive to me. If I had played a lot of these adventure games back when they came out that I missed out on I probably would like them a whole lot more but this is where I'm at. Then I played the remake of part 2 and I didn't really get into it that much and the voices were mostly annoying to me. I know it was a fan remake but still just didn't do much for me. I was also hoping for a remake of 3 with voice and such but that obviously didn't come about and I wanted to play a bunch of the fan games but never got around to them and that's kind of where I ended up. I still want to play 4 since it has voice and possibly 5 but I will have to be in the right mood/setting to play those in order to enjoy them better. It's kinda like Jason X of Friday the 13th, that's the movie that got me into that franchise even though I've known about it since I was a child lol. Also one last thing is now that I'm older with much less time it's hard for me to enjoy a P&C game nowadays because back then when I had all the time in the world and no internet I could just walk around clicking on everything and enjoy it for what it was. Now though when I play games I just have to get through them as fast as I can in order to get on to the next game on my long backlog list of games, like ToonTown I rushed through that a few years back but wasn't that enjoyable but I feel like I would have loved it had I played it when I was younger.

  18. I love "Tawmis Vohaul"'s voice. These are great. I don't know how I didn't come across this before.
  19. John Krasinski https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1024677/?ref_=tt_cl_t2
  20. Yes, fan of Vohaul. Even made videos using SQ, but recolored, and did it as a fun Kickstarter helper thingie... https://www.youtube.com/user/spacequestmachinima
  21. He's probably the best villain the Space Quest series had, because he's just as bogus as Roger himself, so they make a good pair. No matter how many times Vohaul thinks he got rid of Roger, Roger is back, and vice-versa. Not only that, but Vohaul has the same weakness as Voldemort, in which he has an ego too large for not being able to get rid of Roger Wilco, and he wants to do it himself. He also has a thing against Xenon, which is Roger's home world. For all those reasons, his war with Roger is personal and I love it. Personal score: 8/10 Quirk was probably my second favorite villain of the series. He is a good opposite to Roger too, for different reasons. Roger is a loser with a good heart, and Quirk was an arrogant winner. Learning about his involvement with Genetix distanced him a bit from the personal war he had with Roger, but it felt like the game was trying to portray him more as an actual "evil" guy. I think he would've done better as simply an arrogant captain. Personal score: 6/10 Now for Sharpei, apart from her weird fetish with transgendering and transaging to a male janitor in his 20's, she never really did anything against anyone but Roger and Stellar. Somehow, for me, this really did not make her feel that she was that threatening whatsoever. An interesting point, however, is that this is what really made me wonder what's up with Roger's luck. After all, she picked HIM out of a whole galaxy. Maybe there is a special reason for it; a genetic reason. Personal score: 4/10 Finally, Elmo. Elmo never had this proximity. He was not against Roger, the janitor just happened to mess with his plans. All he wanted to do is continue scamming people and being rich. He does have some cool factor with his base and his Skull Fighters, so for that he wins a little bit over Sharpei. Personal score: 5/10
