The "SQN Forums" RSS feed seems to only have one entry per topic.

Is there a way to get one that has an entry for each post, like phpBB did?

 

Or, if RSS/Atom feeds are indeed a thing of the past as I am told, what is the recommended replacement?

Unfortunately having an entry for each post isn't an option. I've set it to order by the last post date though...

Any comments on RSS/Atom being an outdated technology? Are there better alternatives these days?

I was mainly teasing you about that but if you had an iPhone the website does support push notifications etc. There might be a module or something that would add it but I'll have to check.

I can do a UNIX epoch date pretty easily. Trying to work out the IPB date parser.

Opera's reader doesn't seem to recognize it.

Looks like phpBB uses "2012-05-03T08:51:20+02:00" and that works.

Something like "2012-05-03 08:51:20" should also do the trick.

Hmm, I suspect it's only including replies, but not the first posts in threads.

Aye, the table it's looping through only contains replies ('tis very silly). I can make another block that is just topics' first posts and mash that together (they wouldn't flow together, they'd just be in the same RSS feed), or you could just use the built-in RSS :P Or we could mandate that everyone immediately replies to their topics when posting...

Or we could disable the ability to start new topics and force people to repurpose old topics to start new conversations.
