  3. Awesome! Amazing. And all another A words.
  4. Your vote counts double. You'll get nothing in return though. I just needed your vote, that's all.
  5. Thanks all! We REALLY need this from a communication / marketing perspective. We've got quite a few votes so far. Keep 'm coming!
  6. Hey everybody, Recently, my company released its new website, www.mfproducties.nl. Now CSS Design Award (http://www.cssdesignawards.com) has nominated our website for its graphic design! This is awesome news, but I would like to ask you to vote for us, so we actually win the award! Please take a moment or two to vote for us. Locate our website with the header title "Jouw Verhaal" and the megaphone graphic (MF Producties) and vote! http://www.cssdesign...rd-nominees.php
  7. Well, she is! I don't understand what the fuss it about.
  8. Text Parser +10, most definitely. Besides the usual features any adventure game should have (inventory, death sequences, music, sounds, etc) I would like to see something new. I mean, all the other stuff has been done before, right? So why not spent some time brainstorming about a completely new feature.
  9. Thanks to hear that, Chris. Many thanks for taking the time! Now go get that other $420,000! We're almost there! :)
  10. Hey Spikey, Nice to see you rockin' again. :P
  11. Hey Colin! Very cool to see the URL alive again. Keep in touch!
  12. Judge Dredded! I mean.... Just pledged! I wish I had some more money to burn. This recession caught my balls in a bench-vice. Last December I would have doubled my pledge. I'm really sad to say I simply can't do that right now. On a more positive note, this is so exciting, I think I have wet myself.
  13. Shit, I heard. :) Though, it added to the authenticity of it all. I love those Podcasts!! Can't wait to hear more! Even if 80% is just gossiping, regurgitation and over-exciting girls gittering.
  14. Ja, well. I kinda missed out on all that "negativity towards the Two Guys" myself, to be honest. I guess I'm missing the point. My bad, of course. People are watching this thing like a hawk, aren't they? Let's just wait for some more information before we "pledge" anything, before we start sugar coat stuff that don't need any and before we conclude anything from a facebook comment, that emotions aside, sounds like a pretty solid question to me. I don't want to be the party pooper, guys. But we are not the 15 year old Ja Sayers anymore, are we? People worry about the SpaceVenture, I'm guessing, mainly BECAUSE there's no information available. I'm just guessing, mind. Mainly 'cause I'm hungry for more myself.
  15. That sounds like an naive argument to me! If your business wants to get funding for something, you better damn well have a good plan before you approach anybody. Or you'll be laughed at. Hell, try getting any money - what so ever - of third parties these days. Even if your portfolio looks like a throbbing totem pole... It's all too easy assuming people will invest money on your good name or your previous endeavours. But that doesn't tell much about your current project and its potential. I think that's why Kickstart works for so many initiatives. People expect presents and signed bits in return. And that's fine considering the average amount of money pledged. The problem with Kickstart is that it's just plain stupid to "invest" over €500. Sentiments and emotions set aside, of course. Because I think they are valid reasons of their own. Let's say the total project requires €500.000. And I put in €15.000. I would be expecting a piece of the revenues or the company at the very least. That's 3% of the total investment! For a dinner with the designers, two signed T-shirts, an old hockey puck and two sketches, I can get better returns than that. My blunt point (as usual) is... Kickstart is just for fans who are emotionally attached and can go without a few bucks. It has a nice ring to it: Pledging money. And "investing in a project", "making stuff happen"... But really though, who'd invest in my company that actually has a steady revenue for the past couple of years. Other than my boyfriend and my dad of course? ... Do I hear €10.000? Do I hear 11.000? No? €500 then! I throw in this signed T-shirt! No? Aaaw!! ... Now, Two Guys, take my €1000, ja! :)
  16. Really? In the world I live in people would say they're not starting a Kickstart BECAUSE of the other colleagues and that they know it'll hurt their chances if they would join right now. But that's just me as a company owner talking, I guess. Stop right there pall, you're under arrest! Orphan children? Pa-lee-ze! That excuse is so 1980 :P
  17. I'm just curious I guess. It's nice just babbling about this sort of stuff. When push comes to shove, I bet people will act differently anyway. But that's not the point… Right now, how much money are you willing to invest in Kickstarting the Two Guys? Please note voting is anonymous.. It should be anyway, I haven't actually tested this thing.
  18. This is so awesome!
  19. Absolutely. I guess it's because scanning them is a shitload of work for <50 downloads :) I kinda enjoyed the book. But mainly because it was so damn hard to find and acquiring it was pure satisfaction. The writing style is a bit disappointing, but I guess a regular 14 year old reader couldn't care less. Ooh, and Happy Birthday!
  20. The last game I feverishly played was the new Castle Wolfenstein on XBox. It had some terrific replay value. But after I was done with it, I sold the entire XBox (which I bought to play the game in the first place).
  21. Holy Logjam Batman! Howdy back Cap'n!! I saved your special center seat. It has turned a bit moldy in the time you were gone, but I assure you my farting on it had nothing to do with it.
  22. Yeah, have a good one! You only age once a year... :S
  23. While I'm at it doing my 6th sense vibe thing, don't forget to hire Rich Powell for the artwork.
  24. I vividly remember reading Scott's personal stories per e-mail. It had a huge impact on me at the time, because I idolize(d) him like rock star... Not so much as Freddie Mercury, mind you. But then again, Scott didn't have the looks. Nor the voice... Nor the hand... Seriously though, it's pretty weird to hear something of a summary like that on the podcast. Still, the guy sounds like he's ready to take over the world with his pal; Pinky... I mean... Mark. Boy, I'm going to enjoy those upcoming episodes like Patrick Stewart enjoys his Earl Grey.
  25. Does DrawSomething count?
