can you imagine how devasted I was when I found out Sierra fired Mark and Scott, every so often I chat with Al Lowe via Email, love chatting with the guy, he's a lot of fun, would like to meet him person one day and listen to him play the Sax

the one I got from there installed and played with no issues, I actually finished the game last night

the highest computer it worked on was anything with a pentium 1 processor, so that and a 486 were the only 2 computers I could play the original copy on at that time

I found the acutall site who makes it, took some digging around

I want to be able to play it while using windows XP like I have with 1 2 and 3

that's soo wierd, cause my older Pentium 4 Viao never had that issue, but thanks for the link, get right on it

new to the forum, been coming to the site for a very long time, been a Space Quest Fan since 1992 when I was first introduced to SQ4 by a friend of mine, I later bought the SQ collection in 96 when it first came out seeing as I bought SQ5 the year before, as the years went on I was unable to play SQ on the newer operation systems and with Dial up at that time it was hard to get Dos Box set up until I finally got my hands on the XP Collection in 2007, I've played a lot of Sierra On Line games over the years, a lot I do miss playing including the old Dynamix Games such as Stellar 7 and Nova 9

I got this collection back in 2008, and had no problems playing all 6 games on my old Sony Vaio, I am currently using a Vaio that is 2 years newer, I have no problems playing SQ 1-3, but when I play 4, 5, not sure about 6 yet the music does something like skip or lag and the game play does the samething as the music , and not sure what to do about it

I was just on google marketplace and couldn't find it

I remember when I was trying to play SQ6 on windows 98 and higher, it would crash in the med lab when you were going to scan the hair sample, had to play that part on an older computer, but was able to play the rest of the game on a newer computer no problem, then of course I got the XP collection

I will be happy if SQ7 ever get's made, I shipped out for the Army 1 year before the original release date and when I got done with Boot and AIT I went online looking for it and was very upset, hell when I called Sierra On Line they thought I was clueless, I told them I had the SQ Collection and it was showing Summer of 98, she still thought I was full of it but oh well

I downloaded it off the old Space Quest.net and going thru the archives I can't find it, for some odd reason I can't find it on my external hard drive when I backed everything up the other day when my computer was acting up, if anyone has a link I will be greatfull
