In my humble opinion, I'm not sure the logistics really make sense with Scott and Mark having Space Venture as their flagship project. If SV really does well and they are able to continue with a sequel, they may never see the advantage from a business stance to pull SQ into the mix. Although I have starry eyes for the prospect of a return to SQ7 as you do, I wouldn't hold my breathe for that. Let's just take stock in the fact that we are even getting ANYTHING relatable to SQ. HCH

I read this last night and thought, ugh, generic boring trite. Reading the residual aftermath of your comment this morning was more attention then it deserved. It's going to take a lot more then a middle finger from Keanu Reeves to break my seasoned yet, thickened chicken skin sir/boy. I do honestly, and regretfully feel an unsavory inner obligation to inform you that my comments on kickstarter were all in defense of Troels and the Two Guys. As far as I'm concerned, some of the backers over there truly deserved a good tongue lashing for there surly temperaments. I am sorry if you are on of the inarticulate backers still coddling your microphallus but, I am more then happy to take on your un-opposing protestations. Please do yourself a service to go back and read through my commenting literature and how it was inspired, it would do you some good to invest in your education now and again. So I say to you, Frozen Cockburn, In the words of my earlier self, and back before you were graced by the posted pictorial of Master Kenobi... just stop. And the newly added...seriously. HCH

@MusicallyInspired - Although there is no legal obligations to fulfill anything to any Backers, besides said game, still therein lies a moral responsibility on the beneficiary's end to make good on the Backers. Whether or not they deliver on that is a matter of moral compass or strategic design. My guess is they are just hustling to finish Space Venture, which is okay. At the same time I would hope that they don't forget to "tip the lady". Are we done here? HCH

@MusicallyInspired - I'll accept that you don't think Backers deserve Updates. Fair enough. I still disagree on your point that of KS being a charity. Now be it, if the money is designated for those in NEED, then yes it's a charity. Space Venture is a WANT in my book. There's no starving children here. HCH

@MusicallyInspired - Personally I think if you really ponder about it, the entitlement comes from the exchanging of monies. If this were say a charity then I can see how it would be extremely easy to make your donation and turn a blind eye to the dispersal of funds. In this case, good sir, we are talking about a business venture and for that reason alone I think it anchors an on going yearning for process growth and project updates. We WANT to see the Two Guys succeed with this game, it's almost the instinctual duty of the Backer to induce pressure upon the group of people they have endorsed. HCH

The thing is though, It's a Kick starter and anyone who contributed any amount is deserved project knowledge that exceeds the knowledge of a non-backer no matter how large the knowledge gap may be. Regardless, I really posted this originally to try and scrounge up some sort of insider update. Which, again, Thanks to Frede and PCJ for their contributions and willingness to dispatch ANY news be it large or small. I personally found the bullet PCJ mentioned about Scotts Mother to be unexpected and a bit humanizing to say the least. It certainly reminded me that their is obviously a lot more happening then just us fan boys getting our grubby, grimy hands on Space Venture. The in depth analysis on updates subsequently seems to be nothing more than circular reasoning and I don't find the purpose in discussing it... But I could be wrong. HCH

Just an all around question really, but has anyone heard anything from the Two Guys camp? I hate reading the comments in the kickstarter threads but, some times when Backers comment on things like to much time has past or finances have run dry it is a bit un-nerving to say the least. Don't get me wrong, I have trust that they have an omnipotent plan at work, but please forgive me, I just have this festering itch of curiosity that needs some scratching. And please, no sophomoric jokes about proscribing pant loads of anti-itch creams/topicals or the like, I know some of you won't be able to resist though. HCH

Looks generic and tired. I'm severely unenthused. More white noise as far as i'm concerned. Pity... HCH
