Mass Collaborative Tribute Video *COMPLETE!!*
Intendant S replied to MusicallyInspired's topic in Andromedan Spaceport
Great! I'm working on my notes now and will try to grab a friend to run the camera this weekend. Knowing the way that I think, it'll be sappiness interlaced with bad jokes. Should be perfect for the video. And I'm also planning a little "thank-you" to Scott, Mark, and Chris on Facebook as well. -

I was talking with Tom earlier about the petition and I'm behind it 100%. -

I've got some ideas for my video and I'll try to get it in as soon as possible. It might not be until after the update goes up, though. -

I'm rather camera-shy, and I nearly didn't even submit anything for the Asylum spotlight video, but for Scott, Mark, and Chris I'll definitely consider submitting something for the video. Count me in. -

Yeah. My translation is a bit garbled, but the gist of it is there. There's no slander, no attack, just pure objective news. As it should be. -

We may have butted heads in the past over at Replay, but I want you to know that I still respect you. It's both funny and great to know that someone like Paul would bring even people who have their differences together. -

Thanks for saving those posts. I've gotten some shots personally from Tom and Jeroen. It's so heartening to see so many people coming to my and others' defense. It's sad to see what Paul's been doing and angers me to no end to see him censoring so many great people. Even posters that I've had problems with I've heard were banned. As much as they were driving me and other mods insane, even THEY didn't deserve that kind of treatment. -

I'm sorely tempted to write something for the KickstartVentures blog, but I don't want to seem as petty and vindictive as Paul. It's certainly not my style to stoop to the bully's level. -

Yeah. There's no way he's gonna be apologetic. And if he tries to apologize nobody's gonna take him seriously, anyway. -

I wasn't there for the early drama, but I know for a fact that I'm happy to see so many adventure game developers rally around each other and support each other. As a fan of the genre since the '80s it feels good to give so much back to something that I've loved as a child. What Paul did and said hurt. A lot. But I'm willing to move on and support projects that deserve my time and effort. -

I'd be so in for some kind of thanks to Scott, Mark, and Chris. Count me in. :y: -

Nah. Not worth the hassle. I'm done with Replay, anyway. -

So it appears speaking your mind gets punished by being kicked out of the club. Not only have I been asked to leave the team because I wouldn't take back what I've said here but I've been locked out of the Replay forums completely. I can't even read what's posted. All the time and effort I've put forth to help Larry get released was rewarded with a great big "Fuck you!" Thanks for showing your true colors, Paul. If you're still monitoring this thread then I want you to know I'm not supporting any future Larry games as long as you're at the helm. -

Like Tom, I have no regrets for helping Larry become a reality and that I've enjoyed fostering friendships with the people that I've dealt with. That said, I also have respect for Paul. However, with antics like this and the other ones I've had the (dis)pleasure to be a part of it's kind of hard not to wonder if that respect is misplaced. His actions are inexcusable and it does leave a bad taste in the mouth. -

I tend to stop commenting on projects long since finished, but I just had to say something, myself. -

That "don't tell Paul" was more tongue-in-cheek than anything else. The thing with him is that he could be showering praises one minute and the next he's digging into something else. I don't think there's any rhyme or reason to his behaviour. Yes, his attacks on the likes of SpaceVenture and Sam Suede were rather off-putting and offensive. I didn't care for that then and I certainly don't stand for it now. In fact, I backed the latter just because of his rant towards the developers and felt they deserved some lovin' afterwards. -
Paul Trowe criticism on Kickstarter update

I'll be honest here. I'm not a bit surprised. Dealing with Paul on a somewhat regular basis, give or take, I've gotten used to his behaviour. I'm convinced that he's some some major bipolar things going on. I've actually had a discussion with him about this. He's convinced that SpaceVenture is gonna tank. Don't tell him I said this, though. I shared with him that I'm a bit nervous due to the lack of communication but that I still had faith in the project. After all the money I put in the campaign I've got to be optimistic that it'll be a great spiritual successor to Space Quest. This is just a good case of foot-in-mouth disease. -

In space no one can hear you scream. Which might not be a good thing in the case of the newest addition to the action-adventure stable of games trying to get funded through Kickstarter. Take Europa 2022, a blend of traditional point-and-click adventure with the more “actiony” elements that can be found in the likes of Heavy Rain or Uncharted. Toss in a liberal dose of sci-fi horror and you’ve got the makings on a unique gaming experience.

What do you get when you take a potbellied exterminator, a purple bear bard, and the most nastiest slugs you’ve ever seen and put them together in a 2D point-and-click adventure game? Why, you get the continuing saga of Reemus and Liam, that’s what. Enter The Ballads of Reemus 2, another game being Kickstarted that started its life as a Flash-based adventure on the likes of Newgrounds and Kongregate.

Survival horror is such a popular genre in gaming, and we have yet another adventure with supernatural leanings to showcase in “Currently Kickstarting”. U55 – End of the Line looks to be another great addition to the roster with not only crap-your-pants horror, but it also offers the use of a unique technology that can make your blood curdle with feelings of fear and anxiety if done right. Get ready to experience a subway ride that you won’t soon forget. Read on if you dare.
