I don't have a 1-Up account, but I did share it on Twitter. Definitely a great read.

Countdown to Ken Allen's Kickstarter project
Intendant S replied to mrkenallen's topic in The Rocket Bar
Liked the Facebook page and will keep an eye on when it goes live. I'll be there on day one. ;) -
Based on my own experience with other projects, all of the physical goodies are gonna be shipped out at the same time as the game launches. As for the digital rewards, they can release them pretty much at any time as long as they aren't related to the game itself (i.e. the game, soundtrack, etc). I'm most interested in when they're gonna send out the survey, though. And the request for photos for the fan card, wall of fame, and "alienization" portrait by Mark.

Yeah. I missed out on the comic (thankfully they're offering it as an incentive), but I love the premise of a cross-over between two of my favorite childhood stories. I joined in on day one. Now, if they decide to make a Mad Hatter mini I'll probably be putting more money down.

Not a bad video. I do recommend slowing down the "Star Wars" crawl, though. I had a hell of a time trying to read it.

Here's a short write-up that I did on my GameInformer blog for Hero-U. So You Want To Be a Hero? Register For Class.

I agree that the new pitch video is much better than the original. I also much prefer the new artwork to the old.

It's great to see support for Linux, even if I don't use it. You guys are so passionate about your platform of choice that I smile every time that I see a developer promise it.

Sierra meetup being planned for Summer 2014 in Oakhurst, CA
Intendant S replied to pcj's topic in The Rocket Bar
Signed up as maybe. It would be fun to meet up with some of my heroes, but it's so far away I just can't commit for sure at this time. -
That was an awesome video. I'm so putting that up on my Facebook page.

I always thought Roger's demotion was Sharpei's influence and that Toolman was just her...tool.

I love flawed "heroes". That's what got me into the likes of Larry Laffer and Roger Wilco. That doesn't mean that I don't like the Grahams in gaming, too. It depends on my mood. It's just that the former type of PC is much more interesting to play.

Larry Laffer and Roger Wilco have been my personal adventure game heroes since the beginning. The nameless hero from QfG was an okay dude, though.

Sign me up, baby! I'm hot for teacher!

Dear lord. Cedric has to be the most annoying Sierra character EVAR!

Unfortunately, I'd be still at work myself. I wouldn't even get home until 6:00pm PST.

What am I? Chopped orat? I backed Papier, too. Edit: Unless you ARE talking to me...in which case, ignore this. I haven't had my coffee yet this morning.

There might be 6 of us. That's more than 5.

SpaceVenture's Backers... Where are they hiding?
Intendant S replied to Johnathon's topic in Andromedan Spaceport
I couldn't agree more with this sentiment. I met so many awesome people through all these Kickstarter campaigns. It may be making my wallet bleed like you wouldn't believe, but the memories (and in-game cameos) make up for it in spades. -
SpaceVenture's Backers... Where are they hiding?
Intendant S replied to Johnathon's topic in Andromedan Spaceport
I've been in the habit of checking at least once a day. And I have been one of the 20-or-so commentators. -
Dude, your photo's been posted on FB by Replay Games. How awesome is that?
-
Looking forward to it.

"I don't get it ... Ooooh, NOW I get it!"
Intendant S replied to Troels Pleimert's topic in Starcon Academy
Kiz Urazgubi. It took me until my latest play through to figure that one one. -
What if Space Quest 6 went in the OTHER direction?
Intendant S replied to Sir Procestuous's topic in Starcon Academy
I'm a huge Trekkie and I didn't care much for SQ5. Like I mentioned, I loved the spoof idea, but it just didn't seem to fit in the SQ universe.
