I have a simple (maybe stupid) question. How do you put an image in a topic? I want to post pictures of something I made but I can't find out how.

You can either attach them (in "More Reply Options" for replies) or link directly to them on another server (if it allows hotlinking) by clicking the Image button. It's about mid-way on the second row of buttons above the post box.

Try uploading them to imgur.com and just link to them in your post.
