View562-0-0.bmpThank you so much for the debug, collector. With that, I was able to have in my inventory the rag, the bundle of nerves, the electromagnet and the handcuffs. I realized some things. First, all of them have an image and a cursor except the rag. The rag uses the image and cursor of the pump. Second, all of them have a voice description except for the handcuffs. Third, the real image for the rag exist in the folder, but no icon, and it's not linked to the rag. Fourth, if you click on the paperclip with the bundle of nerves, or vice-versa, it won't create the electromagnet. Look at my attached thumbnail. You will see what the rag was supposed to look like.

I know that in Space Quest 6, there is like 4 objects that are not used. I thought about a way to see them in-game, and I thought that it could be possible to find my saved games directory, find all the data that is associated to Roger, find the inventory data, add the missing objects data, and VOILA! The only problem is that I'm not a good programmer at all. I don't know where are my saved games, neither how to edit them. Could someone help me please?

I do not want to be mean, neither discouraging, but could you guys try to stay on the subject of this topic? I get lost here with all the different discussions and cetera. You should talk about the podcast in another topic. Troels, I started a private message with Akril about the podcast subject, like you said earlier. I'll start to work on the text that I'll use for the podcast. I'll send you it when it's done. :)

I also found an unused inventory object icon : http://www.flickr.com/photos/106016985@N05/10729332775/in/set-72157637093575225 The object looks like a chainsaw. Strange, but that would explain the strange chainsaw death. But really, Roger is dumb, but not so dumb as he would kill himself with a chainsaw. Seriously, sometime, I would like to ask a few questions to the Two Guys, like : "What's the bear that was removed from Space Quest III?" or : "What's the chainsaw death and item that were removed from Space Quest I VGA?", or even : "What's the magnet and handcuffs removed items in Space Quest VI?"

I found something else! I found these lines in the code : "Thank you for playing Space Quest I. You've been most entertaining." and "Thank you for playing Space Quest I. Too bad you've failed miserably and doomed all of your people to a horrible death at the hands of the Sariens. You quickly glance about the room to see if anyone saw your silly mistake. Better luck next time." :blink: Was it lines for a text parser plot, like space quest 2, instead of point and click? Strange. Could you tell me if these are in-game?

Thanks for supporting my research. :) I don't play the games as often as I talk about them, so there might be some mistakes. I don't remember of all that in-game but I belive you. The only things that really catched my attention were the extra deaths and deaths messages. Is there anything like that deaths in the EGA version? If so, that could explain that they thought they would recreate the deaths, but they changed their mind before the release.

Hi guys. Recently, I started searching the Space Quest folders, without finding too much special stuff. I wonder if some of you still have the beta versions of some Space Quest games, so I could search that for new hidden secrets. If so, could you send a virus-free copy to download please? Just a question, not an obligation.
