Installer for SQ3 with Munt-emulated MT32 *AND* digital sound effects
Nope; just thought it was cool. I've never gotten MT-32 emulation for anything to work in my life.

Help us come up with some hilarious meal names for Taco Nova!
I can just see the logo ... Kind of like the Pink Floyd judge, but with a huge happy smile instead of a frown. This name just made me chuckle until bits of my throat came loose.

Installer for SQ3 with Munt-emulated MT32 *AND* digital sound effects
Want to play SQ3 the way it was intended? I don't think you're gonna get any closer than with this installer from our pal The Collector. http://sierrahelp.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=3925#p51291 This requires you to have the MT-32 patch for Space Quest III and this is not the place to ask for that (Google is your friend). But once you've got the bits and pieces, Collector's installer should make it relatively painless to get SQ3 running with all the goodies -- including Roger's now infamously forgotten "where am I?" voice during the intro, as well as all the digital sound effects that were left out of the original because, eh, SoundBlaster drivers in the 80's ...

I laughed at this and now I'm looking over my shoulder to see if Scott caught me laughing at a pun.

Starting a Let's Play series of SQ4, but before I do...
Thanks for the plug, suejak. ;) Off the top of my head, my favorite "bug is a feature" is pressing the space bar during the intro to get text and speech at the same time (an option apparently removed from the final version). Also that it is technically possible to avoid the Sequel Police on Estros and make it back to your time pod, but for no real reason. I had detailed instructions for that in the old SQ FAQ. The secret time code to Ortega: top row left-to-right + first left button on second row. "Blue frogs on my shoulders makes me happy" line in the audio file that doesn't appear in the game and which NO ONE, not even Scott Murphy, knows what it was for. Big mystery. Differences in graphics between disk and CD version. The "room removed for legal reasons" that's in the resource files but inaccessible from the game itself. I'll try to think of more later.

Soo, the Internet Archive released a bunch of old DOS-games...
DosBox used to shit bricks if you tried loading anything tougher than AlleyCat in the olden days. This'll come around, I'm sure. :)

SQ7 Mania
Ahh. :) Okay, I'll give that a shot.

This had me laughing way too hard. If this doesn't come with a series of pins stuck into the top for no reason, then I guess this wasn't a Hellraiser reference. ;)

How is that better than "Quasardilla"? Come on, I spent five minutes on that one. ;)

I had this one on Twitter: "The Bowel Buster Beef Bomb." Also, a couple of other disgusting ideas: The Skid Mark Surprise Super Fun Meal Communion Wafer Nachos (so thin they're practically one-dimensional!) Quasardilla with extra Suicide Sauce and, of course The Retroactive Abortion Chili Dipper.

SQ7 Mania
I finally got around to trying to play this game. I'm really impressed with the graphics, actually. I like the 3D look you guys gave Roger. I can't figure out how to charge the screwdriver, though -- there's no inventory I can find, and only one hotspot in the room (the light). Am I missing something here? Also -- any chance you might upload your Roger sprite graphics for use in other fan games? :)

I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more... updates?
Yeah, that ought to do it. :D Wow, that was quite a hefty chunk of updatin'.

If only Chris would let me swear at them. For some reason, he thinks that's "unprofessional behavior."

I'd love to, but it's not up to me. Or Chris, for that matter. And I certainly respect the Guys' insistence on keeping surprises intact. That said, I hope I can be a part of some more substantial updates in 2015 as the project gets closer to completion.

Yeah, I'm probably going to stay away from there for the time being. Trying to help didn't seem to get me anywhere.

Roger Wilco - Over! ("The Stranger" DEMO)
I love the idea of a hyper-modern 3D parser game! :D Wow, that sounds so amazing, I'm turning into JDHJANUS here. I think we should come up with an original story. How about a game set between SQ3 and SQ4, detailing what happened when Roger got back from Earth through Black Hole Bertha? It's never been explained how he went from there to Magmetheus. Presumably, he just got spat out where he started, near Pestulon. So he's still stuck in a quadrant with no idea how to get home? Maybe he goes back to Monolith Burger to get directions, only to be sidetracked by some quest that eventually leads him out of the quadrant and onwards to Magmetheus. The game could end with Roger finally getting directions to his home planet Xenon, and his decision to stop off and get a drink at the space bar is the final line of the game.

Where are my metalheads at?
Yeah, well, Jane Jensen said the same thing about believing in God because she went through a thunderstorm in an airplane. I'm pretty sure both of these fine people weren't exactly in their pious mood when they were writing their oeuvres.
