Yeah. It really did. Nothing ever came of it, despite me and Alan's numerous submissions (usually at least one a week until SpaceVenture got funded). No idea what they're going to do with it, if anything, sadly. In the end, it was fun to do - and learning (once again) that Twinkies are the most vile thing to eat in this world. -

Ah, I have only used PicEdit and AGIStudio... So I wasn't sure if the others worked the same way. -

It doesn't look like he's using AGI Studio by the looks of the screen shot above, however. I know that's how it works with AGI Studio. -

+1 Again. As for future remakes... I'd love to see LSL2 and LSL3, because they were my favorites. Well LSL4 was so awesome it blew my mind and I forgot most of how it went... but some floppies were missing... -

My only suggestion to the above images - in the last image, the Guys look a little flat - and their hair and uniforms should be red, rather than that yellow/brown color. -

+1 this post. Especially the first line. I may not be a fan of Paul Trowe, but I am a fan of Al Lowe... so that's what I am focused on. Vivendi was horrible to all things Sierra, but it doesn't make me hate the classics, just because of Vivendi. -

All done in photoshop. Me and photoshop (well, actually Paint Shop Pro is my weapon of choice) are best friends.

Al Lowe also seems to have commented (if one believes it's really him). The person seemed very civil, which Al Lowe always is, so it may have been him. -

Sludge Vohaul laid low Thanks to Scott Murphy and Mark Crowe. A return to their fame They return with a brand new game. I watch around the clock Until I can play Astro Cock. Waiting for the day I can play Ace Hardway. Yesterday is not soon enough Because this friggin' waiting is tough. -

I'd like to believe that... But there was a reward for actually being in the game... that was rather expensive. I wish it could be so easy as doing the silly Twinkie-Nose submissions for getting us in the game! -

Depends. If you read comic books, this is often done. Especially since it's in all caps. It's like a shouting statement of amazement.

No. No they're not. I can't believe I ate it as a kid. I probably didn't. Because when I bought them just for the contest (which no winner was ever decided), I decided to try and eat it - and it's bad. I mean, real bad. -
Oh, it's not that it was bad - but it felt distinctly different than the previous SQ games (even those that were missing One Guy From Andromeda; it still felt like SQ). It's that expectation of one thing; and getting something entirely different.
-
I thought SQ6 was the least difficult. First, I didn't care too much for the animation. The animation was a huge, HUGE, HUGE step back. It looked like someone who was three years old drew Roger Wilco in the game. It looked very flat - and made the rest of the game feel very flat. (It literally reminded me of a 256 color version of SQ1 - but just adding color, and keeping that same flat figure). As a result, SQ6 was the most difficult for me, because I didn't feel emersed into the game. It lacked the same parody feel that the previous ones had.
