    First generation here. I played the original Space Quest (you saw the floppies in the tribute video) on my Atari ST back in the late '80s/early '90s.

    There hasn't been an update for quite a while, but since Ken's doing the music for SpaceVenture the focus is on the game right now.

    With the exception of Larry, all of those were less than $100 bucks. Oh, yeah. There was a My Little Pony collectors coin that I backed but Hasbro pulled it from Kickstarter. The project creator still honored it and had the coins printed and sent out.

    The horror…the horror! What is it about scary games that draw us to them? Why do we let our fears out and play around with pixelated horrors and gore? I think science is still trying to figure that one out, but in my opinion it’s because we LIKE to be scared out of our wits. Which is why we’re featuring a documentary on these creepy and horrifying games. Take a look into the looking glass at Playing With Fear, a feature film and Web series dissecting the art, craft and community of horror video games.

    It's rather simple. Just type the text you want to have the link, highlight it and hit the "Link" button. Type the URL of the site in the box that pops up and then hit "OK". That's all you should need to do.

    One aspect of adventure games, or really any game at all, that’s important to the playing experience is music. It helps to breathe life into the story. But, few actively pursue it as a central theme. Enter Bolt Riley, a story of reggae music and finding one’s place in society. Working your way up to being a legend is the name of the game here. And it looks like a great take on the genre.

    LOL. Yeah. Nonookie and Nontoonyte were jokes that flew way over my head until I was old enough to understand what they meant.

    For me it was the Klingons. It hurt so much to see them relegated to the "other" faction for so long that I kept beating the drum. Perhaps a bit too much. I wonder if they ever fixed the glaring problems there.

    I've always been partial towards the death messages. To this day I'm still not quite sure what a "pantload" is, but it cracks me up every time.
