  1. Same, mentioned it in the news portion of my latest podcast ep yet again and posting daily updates to twitter/bumling forums threads. Almost there people!
  2. I don't even watch the video most of the time.
  3. Not sure if this is reasonable or not, but maybe put this up as a full-on KS update? It's get it out there more (unless it already has an I missed it).
  4. There's really no benefit to speculating about this stuff at this point in the campaign. All it will do is create bad press. Honestly, while these comments are certainly disrespectful to Chris, they are still supportive of the project overall.
  5. Well the momentum has defintiely picked up in the last few days. Hopefully it'll continue to roll and that plus an ending blitz will get us there!
  6. It's actually quite interesting refreshing the KS screen every 30-40 mins, the total actually fluctuates up and down quite a bit. It's amazing how much people seem to adjust their levels of support.
  7. This is what I usually do http://www.timezoneconverter.com/cgi-bin/tzc.tzc
  8. but...if everyone did, we'd fund right now!
  9. http://forum.myextralife.com/topic/44752-leisure-suit-larry-other-sierra-kickstarters/page__view__findpost__p__741170

  11. As long as the Two Guys and the community keep plugging away we'll make it. There's been good renewed momentum in the past few days.
  12. Not sure if this is news but SQ collection 75% off on Steam: http://store.steampo....com/news/8099/ (Though the discount does not seem to be active just yet)
  13. Avengers 2: directed by Scott Murphy! :)
  14. If people have paid for the games, then it wasn't directed at them, so why feel bad? Of course I'm trying to ascribe logic to emotional reactions, which we all know is worthless :) Even if you did pirate the games (which I can freely admit that I have on occasion though I own the GoG versions now), this certainly is a joke in keeping with the TGFA's style.
  15. It IS a dream come true...for us. That's the thing to keep in mind, it'll take much more then the SQ fans here to make this kickstarter fund. Most people will be MUCH more unforgiving then anyone who posts here would be.
  16. I noticed Good Old Games is really pushing Carmageddeon and the Tex Murphy KS campaigns. This week is "Tex Murphy Week" (http://www.gog.com/p...tex_murphy_week), they are offering all the old Tex games at half price. I obviously have no idea what the logistics or legalities of this are but I think it'd be cool if something similar could be done with the Space Quest games over there. Barring that, having GoG tweeting for the KS as they are for Carmageddeon would also be cool.
  17. http://www.w3schools...wsers_stats.asp http://www.telegraph...eb-browser.html Chrome beat out IE and Firefox and is now the top browser in usage share. It is most assuredly not a "minority browser".
  18. In addition to my previous posting when the kickstarter launched, I just put out a new podcast ep covering the entire Space Quest series where I once again mention the campaign. http://umbcast.com/e...-5-space-quest/ I'll likely continue tracking the progress of the kickstarter in my news section for the duration. (though I'd hardly consider myself 'press' :) )
  19. Loved the prototype, the text was all spot-on. However, I'll also agree that the whole "listen to this 20-odd minute audio clip before you play" really brought my enthusiasm to a grinding halt. To me, it was akin to getting a new PS3 game, popping the disk in and then having to wait for a 20 gig patch to download. It's a bit frustrating. I also found it a bit difficult to find the link to the chrome store as it was buried in the lower paragraph of the post. Firstly, it made me delay trying the prototype at all (because I didn't have 30 minutes free to listen and then try the prototype). I eventually realized I wouldn't have the time so just went ahead and gave it a go just having read the post. It was more then sufficient. Not hating at all, just wanted to provide some feedback on my experience. Keep it up, so excited to see this fund.
  20. lol, yeah I noticed that!
  21. <--- sci-fi geek doing web development
  22. I didn't say it was feasible, but you can't deny it'd be awesome.
  23. That's a great idea. A marathon late in the campaign with the Two Guys playing their own games would be awesome.
  24. You could always implement a voice parser via the overly expensive PC version of the Kinect.
