  1. ... does anyone have them available for download somewhere? (I'd rather not extract the youtube versions, as the videos are so old and quality is already pretty poor - that the "reduced" versions of Youtube are typically much worse!)
  2. Well, if it was a CRT glow - then why isn't the insurance salesman also with a blue hue when the glass reveals him in the tube?
  3. There's been very little over lapping. LSL ended first (Jane's was going at the same time). Then Jane's was coming to an end, and Two Guys started theirs. So it's not like all three ended at the same time. There was about two weeks between each one ending (and even more, if I am not mistaken between Jane's and Two Guys). It makes it difficult to donate $1,000 dollars - sure - but I don't think most of us can afford to donate that much anyway. But dropping $100 for each one, and having two to four weeks between each one ending, was not difficult for me (and I live on my own, with a wife, rent a house, pay all the bills, etc). So I have plenty of bills - but this seemed nicely spaced out between them. And as for doing them all around the same time (relatively speaking) - I think it's the best idea - because you're riding a hype of "The Glory Days Of Sierra Games Coming Back!" Wait too long, and the KickStarter fever decreases (many are already sick of hearing about it, which I will never understand) - so I think it was done nicely.
  4. Fun thread - I had to dig back to where the whole Vohaul debate begins with the skin tone. Now, for when he says being his own guinie pig has its disadvantages - you think it's because it made his skin blue? To me, it didn't indicate that - to me, it indicated that Vohaul was absolutely crazy. And the disadvantage was that he was stuck with all those tubes in him, because he probably did so much damage to his body. I have always believed Vohaul's skin to be blue. Someone later mentions that "he was human at one time" - to me, this again - does not mean that he had pink flesh. We're talking all these different worlds - who is to say - that there isn't blue skinned humans? Just like there's black skinned humans. This isn't entirely an impossible thought. You can find it in examples of the Kree (an alien race in Marvel Comics) - where there is both Pink Skinned and Blue Skinned Kree. (From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kree - "True Kree resemble humans almost exactly, with the exception of blue skin" ... "The original Kree had blue-colored skin, but a second racial group with pink skin resembling that of human Caucasians emerged over the millennia.") For that matter, another example using Marvel Comics - is the Atlanteans - with them once again, split between blue skinned and white skinned Atlanteans). So I am not sure why anyone's stuck on the idea that Vohaul has to have white skin - and that blue skin is impossible because he was "human."
  5. And because I have too much time on my hands... I posted the following photos on Twitter and Facebook with: "An Andromedian Rebellion is splattered across the galaxy! They're demanding that #SpaceVenture gets funded! You can help www.tgakick.com"
  6. To add to MrKenAllen... Today at work... "Who let the Andromedians Out?"
  7. Poor Brandon. Guy can't catch a break. I got his last name wrong in my first Tawmis Vohaul video.
  8. I think it has more than a mere $346 dollars... (I kid, I know what you meant just trying to lighten the mood!)
  9. Heh - he put the second one up on the TGA page. Not the first or third, which is fine. I am doing them to have fun and try and promote SpaceVenture at the same time. I have gone around posting them on various forums myself. (I don't think Scott is a prude though, and that he'd work about the word 'Cock being used so much). Thanks! Hoping to do one or two more before the KS ends, if time permits!
  10. This thread over here has the third episode - http://www.spacequest.net/index.php/topic/392-who-is-tawmis-vohaul/ (This thread here can be locked/deleted since it's a duplicate) :-)
  11. Congrats good sir.
  12. Yeah, that was kind of Awesome. I like how they verified it was Ken. :) And fantastic too, that I got to chat with Ken, Roberta, and Mark and Scott! All in one chat room! And during Space Quest 3 - my favorite of the Space Quest series. As someone said in the chat - the planets aligned.
  13. And now Episode 03... Let's talk about Cock.
  14. Glad to see you adding sir! And thanks for the compliment!
  15. Newest one for this week... http://sierrahelp.com/forums/download/file.php?id=2915&mode=view
  16. Actually, last I heard from Paul Trowe on his FB - is that there won't be any kind of lawsuit. The Sam Suede KS changed their page, removed references (and images) of Leisure Suit Larry, and rephrased the Sam Suede KS to make it more clear that it's BASED on work by Al Lowe, and that Al Lowe is not working on it. But yes, I agree - it seemed that they were being too aggressive.
  17. Every 100k. So when the KS campaign hits 300,000.
  18. http://sierrahelp.com/forums/download/file.php?id=2906&mode=view Thought it was cool that they posted the 2nd episode on their wall for the SpaceVenture FB page!
  19. Sadly, your opening line says - or at least - indicates - just the opposite. It seems (with the opening line) that you're saying that HTML5 will be used.
  20. New one for this week...
  21. I believe it's because I work in an IT environment for a very big company that is very PC based (although ironically we have chips in the newest iPhone 4S) - but since they're all "PC or Die!" types - every time I break out my iPhone to play Words with Friends, Draw Something, check Facebook - whatever it is I am doing - ONE of them, almost without fail, if they see me, will say, "Oh, look who has an iPhone. Well, all those apps you pay for, I get for free. Angry Birds? Free. Most of the mp3's you listen to and paid for on itunes - I can search for them and get them free." (Like they even know that I paid and use iTunes? I despise iTunes, and only use it to synch music - nothing else - I use Windows Media player to play my music - and I have never bought anything off iTunes). It's pretty ridiculous. d I swear, it's to the point where I want to get a shirt that says, "iDon'tCare." that has a picture of an iPhone "going to town" on an Android. LOL
  22. So here's my take - anyone offended, or - ESPECIALLY - who had their little feelings hurt by this video - CLEARLY does not get SpaceQuest. Or the humor of SpaceQuest. And is or was - more concerned about pirating games rather than actually playing them for what the games are. You know, I have a very big heart - I am very compassionate - but some people make me want to punch them in the throat.
  23. Well to help Stellar out... I own an iPhone. I absolutely love it. But I don't feel the need to broadcast how awesome it is - unlike my co-workers, who many have Androids and always preach about how great it is (to the point where it feels like they're over compensating, if you know what I mean...) My wife has an iPhone. She also has an iPad3. She got the iPad, iPad2, and even the iPad3 all when they came out. I don't own one - but I think they're pretty freaking awesome. (And that's just for gaming and such on them). My wife uses it for more professional purposes (as well as gaming). In terms of computers, I have a PC. Always have. And probably always will. That's because that's what most of my gaming is - and really, that and the internet is all I use my PC for. We have like three laptops - all PC - but my wife is considering replacing her dying Windows laptop with a Mac - but it's the price that's holding her back (despite my protests to just get it, since she's always wanted one and she never worries about how much many of my collecting hobbies cost). I remember, before I got my iPhone - I used to tell my wife that everyone who got an iPhone was just a sheep - following the damn trend of iPhones. Even though, even then, I had downloaded apps on her iPhone that I enjoyed playing. And when it came to the one day I dove into the ocean with my phone in my pocket - I decided I'd give the iPhone a try - despite all my years of bickering and bad mouthing it - and now, I absolutely dig it. I have zilch interest in the Android - because, well the iPhone does what I want - and the people at work who often feel the need to brag about their Android (the moment they see my iPhone - I work with a bunch of tech people doing IT Support, like myself) - to the point that I am sick of the Android, without ever having even touched one.
  24. I'd like to see Rosella first (no females yet). Also going to slap a trench coat on Gabe?
  25. Thank you, sir! Been doing the voice acting for quite a few years now... Even got trained and the whole bit. The Space Quest ones were very low end - essentially I had taken a break from doing Neverending Nights - and wanted to see how it would look to use an OLD game to make a machinima, when the rest of the world was obsessed with using the latest and greatest games (at the time they were all HALO based games, essentially because of the success of Red vs Blue that everyone else tried to capture). I have always gone against the norm (everyone was using HALO, I used Neverwinter Nights and Space Quest). :-)
