The game has really fake Beatrice (she's not the same as in SQ5, she's more like a stupid evil madam). The game has cool graphics, music, videos. Technically the game is wonderful! 3D fangame about SQ! Wow. But... But anyway we can't say that 'SQ Inc is shit', it's rude, tactless. Sorry for all.

I was watching Evening Magazine (a local TV news magazine show in the Seattle area) last night, and they had a segment on the Rain City Hearse Club. I was surprised to learn that the founder of the club was Lorelei Shannon! For those of you who might not recognize the name, Lorelei Shannon worked for Sierra as the designer on Pepper's Adventure in Time, King's Quest VII and Phantasmagoria II. She isn't in the video for very long, and there isn't any mention of her work for Sierra, but I was just surprised, and though it was worth mentioning, in case anyone was interested. Guys, this is truly fascinating. You must play it. It's a free MOD for the Source engine. So if you have Steam all you need is the "Source SDK 2007" from the tools section in Steam (which is free) and you can play it. Truly brilliant game design. It's an experimental narrative-driven first person game surrounding the philosophies of choice. I don't even want to say anymore lest I give it away but if you love good writing you should play it. Also, there are multiple...paths you can take. I won't say anymore, but the writing is genius and the voice acting/narrating is very well done. PLAY IT. Akril's new game is out! "Adventure: All in the Game" is a follow-up to her previous Adventure that takes the player behind the scenes of the adventure game world. I highly recommend this new one because the work she's put into it is phenomenal. The story is solid and full of twists, the characters are great, and her hand-drawn animation is incredible. This is one of the most professional-looking things I've seen come out of AGS and extremely well worth a look. Oh, yes - and there's Space Quest references a-plenty in this one. :wink: Go play it now!

Hey all, a long time no see to most of the regulars I remember from times past; I'm sort of back after a long hiatus and thanks to Musiscallyinspired with some assistance I am finally back. Also a hello to see the new users, a belated welcome to the forum and all that from an old former regular I guess, heh. Anyway, on to the topic at hand. Now as many of you know there are ways of getting Space Quest and by extension other Dos games to work on Mac. Thanks to ScummVM we can even play the first 5 SQ games and many other games quite easily even, however we can now play even more DOS games because someone out there by name of Alun Bestor created an App called Boxer..…

The SCI Programming Community website has added a new feature: the ability to play in-progress SCI games right in your browser using jDOSBox. I've added the current build of King's Quest II SCI for all to play. Try it out! It's completable up until the top of the quartz tower where the lion resides.
