Hah. Roger does swim in the game, though. Do you know where? -

That's not swimming that's from the Skate-o-Rama. -
Hidden stuff in Space Quest fan games folders
MusicallyInspired replied to BlockMaster's topic in World O' Fan Wonders
The code and resources are encoded and not decompilable for AGS games. It's impossible to hack without the source code. Like Troels said, your best bet is to contact the developers.- 18 replies

For the remake maybe. Most people here prefer the AGI original. :P

Yeah, that's what I was doing on the server. You could get the keyboard, ride the elevators, enter the escape pod and travel to Kerona. Not everything was finished butbitbwas playable. I even had skeleton archers skinned as Sariens. Looked pretty nice too.

We were doing just that on the old 2Guys server before it went down. Chris Pope made Ulence Flats and I made the Arcada along with a half finished Kerona desert. There just wasn't that much interest. But I'm sure it'd be interesting for many to see what you can come up with through pictures.

Different forum groups have different forum priveleges. Content creators have access to create content for the whole site (stuff in the top menu bar). Sarien Sanitizers are the forum admin/mod staff who can do anything pretty much to the whole site.

VSB Text Logo (Steam Grid Banners)
MusicallyInspired replied to MusicallyInspired's topic in World O' Fan Wonders
Never mind. I looked all over Google Image Search and then visited the VSB site itself and the actual top banner of the page has a perfectly nice isolated version of the title text that will work just fine. lol Here it is, for those who would like it. And one for Incinerations as well, which was just a fortuitously simple cropping job. -
This question is moreso directed to Frede, I guess. I was wondering if I could get a hold of a logo graphic for Space Quest Vohaul Strikes Back with just the text logo and no background image. I've gotten into the habit of creating Steam Grid Banners for all my non-Steam game shortcuts for Steam Grid View and VSB is the only one that's giving me a bit of grief as none of the graphics work very well when cropping/resizing/etc. Any chance I can get a hold of something like that?

Adventure Mob was the first group working on LSL Reloaded who got booted by Trowe, IIRC.

That's why. He's a small man. It's all he has for attention. The sad thing is he didn't have to do any of this at all. He could have approached everything an entirely different way and become a respected icon in the adventure revival. But instead he chose to act the way he did and now he's gone too far to ever come back.

Debut Single Release - Uncontrolled Reentry
MusicallyInspired replied to MusicallyInspired's topic in The Rocket Bar
Well, the fundraiser for the album is this single :). The price is $1 but people can add more if they choose to. I'd love to listen to your stuff, please send me a link! -
Hey, guys! I'm excited to announce my first step on my own into the music industry (besides the game work I've done) with my first song entitled "Uncontrolled Reentry"! It's a 9-minute instrumental with elements of electronic, rock, progressive, and probably more reflecting my personal journey through life, how unpredictable it's been, and how I'm positive and excited about where the future will take me. All that fancy wording aside, it's basically just finally my own project with my own ideas and outlook on music that I've been wanting to get out there for years. It's inspired by artists like Mike Oldfield, Tangerine Dream, Jean Michel Jarre, and even bands like Dream Theatre and Pagan's Mind. It's available from my website BrandonBlume.com, my Facebook Page and my Bandcamp music store only right now, but it will be coming to iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, and more digital distributors in the coming weeks, and I'll let you know when that happens. I'm releasing this single preemptively to support a forthcoming full-length album I'm thinking of calling "Peaks and Valleys". I'll be representing a somewhat wider variety of styles in the full album in various ways, but mostly by combining my favourite sounds into one style, similar to how I've done that in this single. You can stream Uncontrolled Reentry from my Bandcamp music store or from my SoundCloud. If you like what you hear and want to hear more please consider throwing me a dollar and supporting me and my project! I hope you enjoy it! And if you do please spread the word and mention it to your friends. :) Thank you, Troels, for the retweet, btw!

Interesting. I guess they thought they had had enough keycard puzzles in Space Quest lol. The first three all had at least one.

I'd like to see SQ3 redone like SQ2 was
MusicallyInspired replied to SteveHNo96's topic in Starcon Academy
You know that room wasn't necessary to beat the game right? And beside, puzzles are the whole point of adventure games. What's the point in playing a remake when you already know what to do? I personally like it when new things are added. Reminds me why I loved the originals to begin with. It's all about the puzzles. That is adventure gameplay. Without it you might as well just be watching a video. -
Haha no I don't discriminate against my Trekking bretheren, I just prefer one term over the other.

I prefer 'Trekker'. :P
