I also liked Genetix in SQ5. Great feel.

Oh yeah, the first part of SQ3 is brilliant. Given that SQ1 can be completed in under 10 minutes that's a pretty good "segment" too, though probably not what you're looking for. Maybe the first part of SQ4 as well, up through Roger using the timepod for the first time.

It followed the Space Quest Conundrum videos.

Never had any issues with older games like that. But DirectDraw is deprecated and might futz with Aero Glass. Windows should probably switch into Aero Basic mode for such games. You could try doing that manually to see if that helps.

The providers are dropping the AMC channel entirely. AMC carries those shows and will presumably still air them, you just won't be able to see that network on DISH or AT&T.
