Popular Post e1ven 21
Greetings, Space Denizens! In honor of the Two Guys Kickstarter, I'm re-launching SQ7.org. The website, that is, not the project. I'm going to Open the Kimono, and show you some of the sights, sounds, and smells of our SQ7. I'll be posting what we did, why, and hopefully encouraging you to go buy the SpaceVenture. We did a lot of really cool stuff, and it's getting a bit smelly in the back of the closet. So enjoy this trip through my hard drive, and the making of SQ7. Colin "Post it before I accidentily delete it!" pcj 414
Sweet! Good to hear it! (Today is so crazy, I am slammed at work and amazingly everything happens so I can't journal about it on SQN...) EDIT: Hey, it's not up yet, is this just a heads-up or is something broken?
Frans 24
Hey Colin! Very cool to see the URL alive again. Keep in touch!
e1ven 21
PCJ- It should be up as soon as DNS propogates for you. If you don't see it, you could try adding 74.200.243.251 sq7.org to your etc hosts, but it's a bit of a work around. I can load it from everywhere I try.
mjomble 48
Even works from Estonia. PS. Nice!
pcj 414
Cool, I figured it was something like that. I tried my VPN and it works fine.
Sslaxx 10
Going to be very interesting to see what turns up on the site.

DanTooDee 0
This makes me feel so nostalgic. Great! :) Such a shame SQ7.org never saw the light of day as a finished product, but this is great also. Thanks, -Danny!
pcj 414
Hey man, welcome back!
DanTooDee 0
Thanks. How are things? Couldn't we donate all things SQ7-ish to the Two Guys and let them remove all references to Space Quest. Then you have an almost finished SpaceVenture. Cheers, -Danny!
e1ven 21
I'm happy to give them anything they want, but I suspect that them creating stuff on their own is half the fun. Besides, the Plot is still Josh's, I'm not posting that. He may find other uses for it, or something derived from it.
Troels Pleimert 748
This is really awesome stuff. Looking forward to what's coming! Just reading about it makes me go all tingly in places I probably shouldn't mention.
Akril 127
Wow, thanks for posting that picture that I made! (By the way, DanTooDee: now that the SQ7.org domain is back up and running, do you think there is any chance of reviving the SQ Fan Game site?)
pcj 414
Not to step on any toes but there is the Fan Content tab above which can be used for a similar purpose. :)
Spikey 86
Kudos Colin, thanks for putting this online. Looking forward to reading a wealth of new info.
Troels Pleimert 748
Colin, I still have the SQ7 soundtrack I did as MP3, if you want to add that to your site.
Bountice 7
Hi Colin. It's great to see you around again.
e1ven 21
Actually, this is a fun interesting exercise. A lot of the files for SQ7 are pretty hidden. ;) The last time I touched these was 4-5 years, and several computers ago, but I think I still have all the important ones. Ironically, the fact that we pulled/archived a lot of it to send to VU makes it easier to publish, even without their involvement.
e1ven 21
Posted more stuffs. We're reconstructing a number of nearly lost work to get back to you; It's nice to share so much after keeping it secret so long. ;)
s_d 41
The website, that is, not the project. What if we ask nicely? :)
Jared 14
Heh, I'd never seen those trailers before. I was hoping the follow up to "In a world where junk is king..." would be "..who washes the washmen?" since I'm just a slave to stupid jokes..
